When I begin adding onto this book all I see in my mind is the huge piles of dead bodies (largely children) and the stink is still in my nostrils decades later.  Nearly all these people were warned well in advance while foods were still available and even cheap but just like here in America, they are waiting for something or don’t quite buy into the reality in spite of tons of hard proofs.  I can’t sleep many nights and when I do it is in short spurts and I pace the floor trying to figure out what to say to motivate people into action.  Come on… how hard is it to buy a few months of foods in advance since you’ll eat it in any event.  It’s crazy!  I explain about how this is the worst crop production year on record, I explain how the net tonnage available isn’t enough to feed everyone until the next harvest but what do they do?  A few will use my book data to take on required supplies to last out the term but MOST say how horrible it is and go about their business.  It makes me sick as that’s the attitude I saw in Central America where folks seem to go into a denial posture similar to the grieving stages but in advance.  I do not understand it at all because the action required to save your family is so simple.  Take a look at the deaths in martial law and you’ll see that the vast majority come from starvation which is nearly 100% stoppable with a little preparation.  The horrible part is most are children.  See, children are growing and require regular feeding as their cells are multiplying at hyper-speed and if the nutrients are removed or lessened the stress on their little bodies cause sickness that leads to death.  The wailing and cries from a parent who holds a dead child is heart-wrenching but so often the parent who thinks he/she can handle anything is the direct cause of the lost life of the child as they could have listen and taken action instead of putting trust/faith in the hands of others.  It’s time to be responsible for your own families care and give up trusting anybody.  If something need doing and it’s even remotely possible for you to do it then damn it… do it and do it now.

I asked/demanded/pleaded with a family to get out that troops were 4-5 miles out but there is that thing about “HOME” that produces a false feeling of security and days later I found all 8 of them butchered.It’s time for folks to listen and act on vital information.I hear people tell me or email me all the time that there’s no room to store/hide food or supplies in their apartment.This is insane!!You can hide your stores in a rotten building 2 miles away or grease, wrap arms for a more organized day and put them in the ground where the infra-reds won’t detect ground digging.Right now all I see is ‘sincere’ people who are totally unstructured, without supplies or reasonable supply lines, enough supplies and I do admire their resolve but know that just one good trained combatant can take down 20 regular ‘foot soldiers’.

Nobody knows what degree of combat/restrictions/controls, etc. we’re going to have imposed on us but better to be as prepared as best we can.Things look pretty tough with the amount of combatants, supplies already seen.When the dollar implodes to zero, house-to-house searches are everywhere… our lives will change drastically overnight.When 4 troops kick your door down at mid-night and your weapon is registered and you can’t produce it then what will you do?Take a careful and detailed survey of every aspect of your life and have it reasonably organized.

Always know where your family is… each member.Have a place to meet without excessive walking.If your money is locked in Ira’s, investments, etc and when the dollars crashes… do you have anything to trade.Pint’s of whiskey is best to barter.Get over the counter medicine, cigarettes, Vodka and (many medical uses as well as the obvious). .. get creative.Have a basic first aid kit. Cell phones likely won’t work but always know where you can find all your family… have a meeting place for each day and repeat it daily… everyone must understand.

Read the main book carefully and do what it says.This is very important.There’s lots of information to keep you alive.Read it carefully.Also get yourself a good short-wave radio w/plenty of batteries to monitor what’s going on.If you live in a cold climate get a high quality -25 degrees sleeping bag and misc. camping/survival supplies.

This is not a hand-holding-situation.Everyone situation is different so use all my information to customize it to your life.Like meeting places, be very specific for each day.Learn to go without things… learn your life has changed for now.
